In 2008 we tried something a little different and decided to open an extra area, previously used as storage. We made use of the beautiful Victorian Walled Garden and restored what best we could the shop which had previously been an 'Ale Stores', the original glass door still remains and reads 'Three Shires Ale Stores'a fabulous piece of history and an important feature of the shop. We wanted to save as much of the original Victorian fittings as possible and no better example than the shop frontage-Lovingly restored to its former glory after so many years of neglect.
